Modern Slavery Statement

This statement is made in accordance with Section 54(1) of the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 and applicable European human rights legislation. It sets out the commitment of Kuota Cycle Europe to preventing modern slavery, forced labour, and human trafficking throughout our business operations and supply chain.

Our Commitment

Kuota Cycle Europe is committed to conducting business with integrity, transparency, and respect for fundamental human rights. We have zero tolerance for any form of modern slavery, forced labour, bonded labour, compulsory labour, or human trafficking. We expect every organisation we work with to uphold these same principles and to operate in accordance with all applicable employment and human rights legislation.

Our Business

Kuota Cycle Europe is responsible for the distribution, sales, marketing, and customer support of Kuota bicycles, framesets, and cycling components throughout Europe. Working with authorised distributors, retailers, assembly partners, and service providers, we are committed to maintaining responsible business practices throughout every stage of our operations.

Our Supply Chain

Our supply chain includes the procurement and distribution of bicycles, framesets, components, accessories, assembly services, and logistics. We work closely with Kuota Cycle Global, our suppliers, and our European business partners to ensure they share our commitment to ethical employment practices, safe working conditions, and compliance with all applicable labour and environmental legislation.

Our Policies and Due Diligence

To minimise the risk of modern slavery within our business and supply chain, Kuota Cycle Europe:

• Prohibits the use of forced, bonded, compulsory, or child labour.
• Carries out appropriate due diligence when engaging new suppliers and business partners.
• Maintains ongoing relationships with suppliers that demonstrate ethical and responsible business practices.
• Encourages transparency and continuous improvement throughout its supply chain.
• Reserves the right to review, investigate, and, where necessary, terminate relationships with organisations that fail to meet our ethical standards.

Training and Awareness

We promote awareness of ethical sourcing and responsible business practices throughout our organisation. Employees and relevant business partners are encouraged to identify, report, and address any concerns relating to labour standards or human rights.

Our Ongoing Commitment

Kuota Cycle Europe recognises that preventing modern slavery requires continuous review and improvement. We remain committed to strengthening our policies, monitoring our supply chain, and working with responsible partners to ensure that every individual connected with our business is treated with dignity, fairness, and respect.
