Detailed description
We only accept orders when we've checked them:
We contact you to confirm we've received your order and that we've accepted it.
Sometimes we reject orders:
There may be times when we’re unable to accept an order. For instance, if a product is unexpectedly out of stock, if your location falls outside our delivery zones, or if there's been a pricing error. If that ever happens, we’ll let you know promptly and make sure any payment you’ve made is fully refunded.
We charge you when you order:
In most cases we charge you when you order. However, local distributors may take payments at regular intervals for fully built bikes as explained to you during the order process with your local stockist or distributor.
We pass on any changes in regional taxes or duty
If there are changes in regional taxes or duty such as country specific VAT, between your order date and the date we supply the product, your local distributor or shop reserves the right to amend the rate of VAT that you pay, unless you have already paid in full before the change in the rate of VAT takes effect.
We're not responsible for delays outside our control:
If something outside our control like supply chain issues or component delays which affect your order, we’ll let you know as soon as we can and do our best to keep things on track.
Whilst we cannot offer compensation for delays beyond our control, if it looks like the delay will be significant, you’re welcome to get in touch with us at info@kuota-cycle.com If you'd prefer not to wait, we’ll cancel your order and refund you for anything you’ve already paid for but haven’t received.
Delivery times:
Our typical manufacturing and delivery timeframe is approximately 4 to 8 weeks. However, we maintain inventory across a network of distributor warehouses worldwide, which means that, depending on your requirements and product availability, lead times can often be reduced significantly.
If you would like the most up-to-date lead time based on current stock levels and demand, please contact us at info@kuota-cycle.com and we will be happy to provide a tailored estimate.
Products can vary slightly from their pictures:
Kuota are committed to providing their customers with the most accurate product information. However, there may be instances, especially related to third-party components, where information is not as accurate as we would like. If you have any concerns regarding this, please contact us at info@kuota-cycle.com detailing the nature of your concern. If a product is different to what has been advertised on our website, we will either refund or replace the item for you.
Delivery costs and import duty of Frames, bars, wheels and saddles:
There is no additional charge for delivery and import duty to the majority of the world. However, please contact us to check if this applies to you by emailing us on info@kuota-cycle.com we cannot be held responsible for any charges you incur if you have not checked with us first.
If you have already purchased your products and we have contacted you about surcharges for delivery that you are unhappy about, we will gladly provide you with a refund providing you inform us, by return, that you do not wish to proceed.

We recommend using a reliable delivery service that carries suitable transit insurance and keeping proof of postage (like a receipt or tracking number). If we don’t receive the item, or it arrives outside of a reasonable timeframe, we won’t be able to issue a refund.

We aim to process refunds as quickly as possible, typically within 14 days of either getting the product back or receiving proof you’ve sent it. Your refund will go back to the original payment method, and we won’t charge you any extra fees for it.

WARRANTY DETAILS AND CONDITIONS
Kuota provides a lifetime warranty to the original retail purchaser against defects in materials and workmanship affecting the structural integrity of Kuota framesets purchased from 1 January 2026 onwards.
Kuota provides a two-year warranty on components including wheelsets, handlebars, seatposts, and integrated cockpits, and a one-year warranty on saddles and a one-year cosmetic warranty on paint and decals.
Any products supplied by Kuota that are not manufactured or branded by Kuota shall be sold subject to the warranty terms, conditions, limitations, and procedures provided by the original manufacturer. Such products shall carry the manufacturer's applicable warranty for the country or region in which the product is sold. Kuota shall have no obligation to provide warranty coverage beyond that offered by the original manufacturer and shall not be liable for any warranty claims except to the extent required by applicable law.
All Kuota framesets are engineered with a finite service life, which should be distinguished from the warranty period. The warranty does not guarantee that a frame will be free from failure indefinitely, nor does it imply an unlimited product lifespan. The actual usable life of any frame is influenced by factors including frame design, rider weight, riding style, terrain, environmental conditions, maintenance practices, and accident history.
High-impact activities such as downhill riding, jumping, stunt riding, technical trail riding, severe crashes, and exposure to extreme environmental conditions can significantly accelerate material fatigue and reduce the expected service life of a frameset. Failures arising from such use, whether individually or in combination, fall outside the scope of warranty coverage.
To help ensure ongoing safety and performance, Kuota recommends that all bicycles and framesets undergo regular inspections by a suitably qualified bicycle technician. Inspections should include an assessment for structural fatigue indicators such as cracks, corrosion, dents, deformation, paint delamination, or other signs of stress, impact, misuse, or abnormal wear. Regular inspections are important for identifying potential issues before they develop into safety concerns.
WARRANTY CONDITIONS
The Kuota warranty applies only to the original retail purchaser of the frameset, or component and cannot be assigned, transferred, or extended to any subsequent owner.
Kuota reserves the right to inspect any frame, fork, bicycle, or component suspected of being faulty or defective. Where a physical inspection is required, Kuota may arrange collection from the original delivery address or request that the product be presented for inspection at an authorised location. Kuota also reserves the right to appoint an independent third-party inspector to assess the product.
To assist with the assessment of a warranty claim, customers may be asked to provide photographs, videos, descriptions, or other supporting information. Requests for such information are solely for claim assessment purposes and do not constitute acceptance of liability, acknowledgement of fault, or approval of the warranty claim.
Where a manufacturing defect is identified and accepted under warranty, Kuota will, at its sole discretion, repair or replace the defective product. Replacement products will be supplied on a like-for-like basis wherever possible. However, due to model changes, specification updates, or discontinued products,
replacement items may differ from the original product in colour, finish, specification, or model year, provided that they are of equivalent or greater value and performance.
The warranty period commences on the date the customer receives the goods.
Framesets and complete bicycles must be registered within 30 days of receipt in order to activate the lifetime frame warranty. Wheelsets, handlebars, saddles, and other components do not require registration.
To register your warranty, please visit: https://www.kuota-cycle.com/productregister.php
Any warranty claim must be accompanied by the original proof of purchase.
Kuota reserves the sole right to determine whether a product will be repaired, replaced, or otherwise remedied under the terms of this warranty.
WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS, LIMITATIONS AND HISTORIC PRODUCTS
The exclusive remedy available under this express warranty, as well as under any applicable implied warranties, is limited solely to the repair or replacement of defective components with parts of equal or superior value, as determined at the sole discretion of Kuota. This warranty expressly excludes coverage for labour charges, routine wear and tear, and damage arising from commercial use.
This warranty does not extend to any damage, failure, or loss resulting from abuse, neglect, improper repair, inadequate maintenance, unauthorised modification or alteration, failure to adhere to product instructions or warnings, accident, or any form of abnormal, excessive, or improper use for which the bicycle was not originally designed. Furthermore, all shipping and handling costs associated with transporting the product to and from Kuota facilities are the sole responsibility of the customer and are not covered under this warranty.
Consumable items such as gear cables, cable stops, freehub bodies, bottom brackets, derailleur hangers, inner tubes, tyres, brake pads, wheel truing, bearings, grips, and handlebar tape are considered wear items and are not covered under this warranty.
All bicycle frames are subject to fatigue over time. The rate of fatigue accumulation varies depending on rider weight, riding style, terrain, maintenance practices, environmental conditions, and accident history. The lifetime warranty covers manufacturing defects only and does not cover normal fatigue, wear, deterioration, or cosmetic ageing resulting from ordinary use throughout the product's service life.
Cosmetic imperfections, paint defects that do not affect structural integrity, surface marks, scratches, clear coat imperfections, decal damage, fading, corrosion of components, or cosmetic ageing are not considered structural defects and are not covered under the lifetime frame warranty.
Damage resulting from crashes, impacts, transportation incidents, misuse, neglect, overloading, improper storage, unauthorised modifications, or the installation of incompatible components is expressly excluded from warranty coverage.
Assembly, Installation and Maintenance
All frameset assembly, component installation, servicing, and adjustments should be carried out by a suitably qualified bicycle technician. Damage arising from incorrect assembly, improper installation, incorrect torque application, incompatible components, poor workmanship, inadequate maintenance, or failure to follow accepted industry standards is expressly excluded from warranty coverage.
Kuota accepts no responsibility for damage, injury, loss, or product failure arising from the assembly, modification, servicing, repair, or adjustment of a bicycle by any third party. Responsibility for the quality, safety, and suitability of such work rests solely with the individual or organisation carrying out the work.
Historic Kuota Products
The current Kuota organisation, its distributors, agents, and manufacturing partners operate independently of the companies, manufacturers, importers, distributors, and corporate entities responsible for Kuota products manufactured, distributed, or sold prior to the relaunch of the brand in 2026.
Accordingly, Kuota is unable to assume responsibility for, administer, or honour any warranty claims, product liabilities, service obligations, goodwill arrangements, recalls, replacement programmes, or other commitments relating to products manufactured, distributed, or supplied by previous Kuota manufacturers, distributors, importers, or corporate entities.
For the avoidance of doubt, all warranties offered by the current Kuota organisation apply only to products purchased new from authorised Kuota distributors, retailers, or direct sales channels from 1 January 2026 onwards.
Customers seeking assistance with historic Kuota products should contact the retailer, distributor, importer, manufacturer, or legal entity from whom the product was originally purchased.
Nothing in this warranty shall exclude, restrict, or limit any statutory rights that may apply under applicable consumer protection legislation in the country of purchase. Such rights shall remain unaffected.

Other important terms apply to our contract
We can transfer our contract with you, so that a different organisation is responsible for supplying your product. We'll tell you in writing if this happens and we'll ensure that the transfer won't affect your rights under the contract.
Nobody else has any rights under this contract. This contract is between you and us. Nobody else can enforce it and neither of us will need to ask anybody else to sign-off on ending or changing it.
If a court invalidates some of this contract, the rest of it will still apply. If a court or other authority decides that some of these terms are unlawful, the rest will continue to apply.
Even if we delay in enforcing this contract, we can still enforce it later. We might not immediately chase you for not doing something (like paying) or for doing something you're not allowed to, but that doesn’t mean we can't do it later.
